DR. ADRIAN LEE S. DELA CRUZ

Dr. Adrian Lee S. Dela Cruz is a dedicated educator and licensed professional teacher, currently serving as a full-time faculty member in the Basic Education Department of Columban College Inc.-Asinan Campus, Olongapo City. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a major in Biological Science from Columban College Inc. He further pursued his passion for education by completing his graduate studies, including a Master of Arts in Education majoring in Science Education and a Doctor of Education majoring in Educational Administration, both at Columban College. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy majoring in Science Education at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dela Cruz has taught various Science subjects from elementary to junior high school levels, including Physical Science and Earth and Life and Empowerment Technology in the Senior High School level. Presently, he teaches Practical Research and Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion for Grade 12 students.

Dr. Dela Cruz is deeply committed to academic excellence and has contributed significantly to the field of education. Currently, he is serving as the subject area coordinator for the Science Department and a part-time associate professor at the college department, where he imparts his expertise in general and major subjects in Science across various program courses. He is also recognized for his authorship of Science modules used in elementary education by some DIEFI schools. He also serves as an external panel member of the Graduate School for Professional Advancement and Continuing Education (G-SPACE).

His dedication to professional development is evident through his active participation in numerous training sessions, conferences, and seminars/webinars organized by esteemed educational institutions and programs such as Phoenix, VIBAL and ABIVA Publishing House, Rex Academy, Institute in Global Professionals, TESDA, FELTA-Philippines, University of the Philippines Physician-Scientist Association, United States Institute of Peace, National Organization of Science Teachers and Educators, SBMA-Ecology Center, National Geographic Learning, Private Education Assistance Committee, DRRMO-Olongapo City, BIOTA Philippines, and the University of Toronto through Coursera's DOST program.

Dr. Dela Cruz's scholarly achievements extend beyond the classroom, as he has presented his research findings at prestigious international conferences, including the 6th Philippine Conference in Multidisciplinary Research 2023, where he was recognized as one of the best oral research presenters, and the 2nd International Conference on Higher Education Research 2024.

Outside of academia, Dr. Dela Cruz remains actively engaged in community service, volunteering for the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting-PPCRV under the Diocesan Shrine and Parish Church of St. Columban. He has also initiated a commendable community engagement program called "Bags of Hope PH" at Iram Elementary and National High School, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
